Please join us for the 2012 Scholastic Book Fair

Monday, 5th March – Friday 9th March
In the Library Conference Room

 

The PTO is thrilled to once again host the Scholastic Book Fair at our school. This week long event features great books to get your children excited about reading, and the funds raised go directly to help our school library. Look out for a catalog featuring some of the great books for sale that will come home the week before the fair.

We invite your entire family to visit the Book Fair, which will be open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8am–3pm and on Tuesday from 8am–12:45pm.  On the last Friday of the Fair we will close at noon.

 

 

During the Book Fair, your child’s class will have a scheduled time to come visit with their teacher. They may purchase books at that time, or write down books that they are interested in. Your teacher will notify you when their class will be visiting the fair.

You'll not want to miss our Author’s Night being held on Tuesday, 6th March from 6:00pm–8:00pm. in the library. This special event is an opportunity for everyone in your family to shop at the Book Fair, as well as meet some local authors and illustrators who will have their signed books available for purchase.

When you come to the Book Fair please check out the Teacher’s Wish
List Board.  Teachers have identified books they would love to add to
their classroom library.  Students may purchase these books, and can
fill out a gift donation sticker to place in the book. Scholastic Gift
Certificates will also be available to purchase.
